The front door had not arrived so we worked around it until we made a jamb for the door. Other doors came later.

Placing siding is a long and arduous task - made of composite concrete, it takes diamond grinding wheels and special shears to cut profiles around window trim, pipes, etc. Not forgiving - if you cut too much, it's reused for a smaller piece elsewhere. Blind nailed and glued from the back side over each nail with elastomeric to hold it to the previous lap.
The stone work was trying as well. We had to calculate the start of the siding level first and transfer that line all around the house with a laser level. The stone went on before the siding was started and we had to be sure the lines would match up with a full width row over the stone water table. The stone is a natural green color epoxied together in small sections. It fits together like a puzzle with some adjusments for imperfect dimensions (some too wide, too small, etc.). Stemwalls had to be floated out to match the plane for the house sheeting before we could apply the stone.
More pictures coming of the final siding install, interior doors and moulding.
